Our newest addition!

Before we moved to Powell, we lived in Cammy's parents' house while they were in Utah. We sorta fell in love with their dog Emmy. The kids were sad when we couldn't bring her when we moved.

Cammy and Emmy. This last January Cammy's parents went on vacation for a few weeks, and we said we'd take care of Emmy. Well, we had so much fun with her we talked them into letting us keep her.

She loved playing 'catch' downstairs in our unfinished basement.

She's the perfect dog because she is very patient with all the attention (mauling) the kids give her.

She even puts up with Nathan pinching her face, poking her eyes and sitting on her.

Isn't she cute?! We sure love our puppy!

Dylan...the poser

Cammy was playing with Dylan's hair and he decided to pose for the camera. It's funny because he used to be the shy one....

He started losing teeth like none other. This was the first

one, but he's lost two or three more since this one...we'll

add pictures soon.

I wish I could have been there for these pictures because I

don't have a clue as to what he was doing!

A ghost!!!!

You're putting these pictures where?!

On the catwalk. Yeah on the catwalk, yeah. I shake my
little tush on the catwalk.....

Scuba Steve!

Nathan loves wearing goggles! He looks so funny. He'll have us put them on him and then he'll walk around the house thinking he's pretty cool. He is really growing up on us. His favorite word now is Elmo or "melmo" as he says it. He has officially taken over Wesley title of "painful." We are seriously thinking about getting a bubble for him to keep him safe. His latest spill was down the stairs.....in his little bus he rides. He has to be made of rubber! We sure love him....rubber and all!

Christmas Day

We apologize for being poor bloggers! One of our resolutions this year is to do better at keeping in touch, and this is one of the ways. But we're not making any promises :) Here are some pictures from Christmas. Everybody had a great day!

Dylan, Cammy and Nathan on Christmas Eve

Laurie (Cammy's mom) reading the story of the 3 evergreens on Christmas Eve. We were lucky to have Cammy's grandpa Richard with us that night.

The three amigos Christmas morning waiting to see the lute. They actually let us sleep in until 7:30 or so!

The boys and the spoils of the day!

As we were taking the tree down our cats (Black and White, can you guess which is which?) decided they didn't want left out of the fun and jumped into the tree. They played in there for quite a while. We had fun watching them; they thought they were panthers or something. In all, we had a wonderful Christmas. We loved seeing the family we got to see and we missed those we didn't.

Stairway of fun!

Winter time blues! The kids have a hard time finding things to do indoors everyday. This day they were very creative!

"Mom, can we use the boxing helmets and the Thomas the Train inflatable toy?"

"Sure kids, just don't get hurt playing down stairs."

"Hurry, we gotta get one run in before she makes us stop!"

"One....two....three!!!! Um, where are the breaks on this thing?!"

"Whoa! That was scary....wanna do it again?"

Dylan, Riley Bennett (neighbor friend), Wesley...some of the toughest kids on the block.

CELEBRATING BIRTHDAYS!!!

One year ago, last September, we were blessed to have Nathan Oliver born into our little family. Cammy went into labor the night of her birthday. She was hoping she wouldn't deliver until after midnight so Nathan could have his own birthday, but he had other plans! He was born September 17th at 11 pm; he couldn't wait one more hour. So now, they share a birthday, and we are so happy to have them in our family. Happy Birthday mom and Nathan!

The birthday kids!

Cammy and her boys 'monkeyin' around.'

Nathan was teething at the time we took these pictures...or is that obvious? The kid is a drool fountain when he's teething!

Birthday boy!

Dad didn't want to be left out of the fun!
We hope you have lots and lots of fun birthdays together!!

HALLOWEEN NIGHT WITH THE PREATORS!!

Last minute we found this costume for Nathan. He was so cute! Unfortunately it was a little top heavy, and it kept sagging down over his face. He didn't mind it at first, but by the end of the night he was getting sick of his second head.

Wesley had two costumes. This was his scarecrow costume. This is the first year Wesley has really understood the tru meaning of Halloween....getting as much candy as possible. Unfortunately we were late for the trunk or treating, so he and Dylan both were pretty bummed that they missed out on all the goodies.

This is Wes in his lion costume for his pre-school party. Next year we'll have him be the tin man and Dorothy!

Dylan and Wes just before we went down town to rid the local business of all their extra candy. It was pretty crazy, but it got the kids moving and they got quite a bit of the good stuff.

Here we are at trunk-or-treating (the greatest Halloween invention ever!!). Like I said, we got there late so there were only a few cars left. Who looks the most upset? Cammy and I decided to get decked out this year and we got a little carried away with the fake blood....muah ha ha ha!!

Our family at the Halloween party at the church. This is Cammy's friend Tanya Bennett (our next door neighbor). The costume in no way is an indicator of the kind of person she is....:)

Seven WONDERFUL years
