He was missing three at one point. He has them in and he just lost another last week. He even pulled it himself! I don't remember what the black eye was from in this picture, but I'm sure he deserved it......ha ha!

The toothless wonder
I had promised another picture of Dylan losing his teeth. Here it is.....

He was missing three at one point. He has them in and he just lost another last week. He even pulled it himself! I don't remember what the black eye was from in this picture, but I'm sure he deserved it......ha ha!

Mom goes out of town.....part II
This might sound a little like deja vu, but I think it's just a curse I have......every time Cammy leaves town, something happens. So, May 2nd, last Saturday, Cammy has this women's retreat in Billings. Of course, we have big plans (building forts, going to the park, and cleaning up the house!), so we get an early start with the forts. Well, while the kids were downstairs I was upstairs picking up. Suddenly I hear Wesley crying (which is not rare; he's so kamakaze) which quickly turns to screaming. He runs up stairs, blood going everywhere. His story is that he 'forgot to jump' when he was getting on an end table (part of the fort). He must have cracked his nose right on the corner, cuz it was split all across the bridge of his nose. I couldn't get the bleeding to stop, so I sent Dylan and Nathan to our neighbors the Bennets (thank goodness they were home!). I took Wes to the emergency room and the doc decided he'd only need two stitches. Here are some progressive pictures over the next few days and how poor Wesley's face changed......

He was such a trooper. He cried quite a bit at first, but after the doctor finished putting the stitches in, he never complained once!

His wounds were still bleeding after we left the hospital, so we had to change bandaids pretty often. This looks a lot worse than it was.

His poor nose swelled up so much! He doesn't look like himself. It looks like his eyes are a lot farther apart.
After two days his eyes started getting pretty dark.
On the third day he was turning bluish. Wesley said, 'Dad, that's nice that they knew my favorite color was blue and they made my nose blue.' I asked who 'they' were. He said, 'you know, the doctor and the nurse.'

This was as dark as his eys got. The swelling already was going down. Today his eyes are still a little dark, but the swelling is all gone. He got his stitches out on Saturday (he was a little nervous), but he talk pretty nasaly (sp) still. I guess just stay tuned to chapter III......it must be Nathan's turn. But Cammy said she's not leaving me with them alone again.......ever!

Our newest addition!
Before we moved to Powell, we lived in Cammy's parents' house while they were in Utah. We sorta fell in love with their dog Emmy. The kids were sad when we couldn't bring her when we moved.

Cammy and Emmy. This last January Cammy's parents went on vacation for a few weeks, and we said we'd take care of Emmy. Well, we had so much fun with her we talked them into letting us keep her.
She loved playing 'catch' downstairs in our unfinished basement.
She's the perfect dog because she is very patient with all the attention (mauling) the kids give her.
Dylan...the poser
Cammy was playing with Dylan's hair and he decided to pose for the camera. It's funny because he used to be the shy one....

He started losing teeth like none other. This was the first
one, but he's lost two or three more since this one...we'll
add pictures soon.

I wish I could have been there for these pictures because I
don't have a clue as to what he was doing!

A ghost!!!!

Scuba Steve!
Nathan loves wearing goggles! He looks so funny. He'll have us put them on him and then he'll walk around the house thinking he's pretty cool. He is really growing up on us. His favorite word now is Elmo or "melmo" as he says it. He has officially taken over Wesley title of "painful." We are seriously thinking about getting a bubble for him to keep him safe. His latest spill was down the stairs.....in his little bus he rides. He has to be made of rubber! We sure love him....rubber and all!
Christmas Day
We apologize for being poor bloggers! One of our resolutions this year is to do better at keeping in touch, and this is one of the ways. But we're not making any promises :) Here are some pictures from Christmas. Everybody had a great day!

Dylan, Cammy and Nathan on Christmas Eve

Dylan, Cammy and Nathan on Christmas Eve
Laurie (Cammy's mom) reading the story of the 3 evergreens on Christmas Eve. We were lucky to have Cammy's grandpa Richard with us that night.

The three amigos Christmas morning waiting to see the lute. They actually let us sleep in until 7:30 or so!
The boys and the spoils of the day!
As we were taking the tree down our cats (Black and White, can you guess which is which?) decided they didn't want left out of the fun and jumped into the tree. They played in there for quite a while. We had fun watching them; they thought they were panthers or something. In all, we had a wonderful Christmas. We loved seeing the family we got to see and we missed those we didn't.
